Out in the arena, dust flying around,
Here comes the hero, the clown in the round.
Dodging the bulls with a grin and a leap,
Spotting a beauty, in the third row seat.

Jumps and jests, all part of the play,
While Miss Pretty watches, taking his breath away.

Risking his neck with extraordinary style.

Hoping tonight, he’ll have a shot at romance.

He strides to the hall with a bouquet so fine,
Searching for the girl who’d make the stars align.
With a heart full of dreams and a crooked bow tie,
He’s ready to charm her, oh he’s gotta try.

Our clown watches on, heart sinking low.
He laughs off the pain, tips his hat in the end,
The life of a clown, on no one to depend.
